Your responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work within a dynamic and motivated team to deliver pragmatic and efficient solutions for small and medium-sized businesses in Switzerland:
- Design and (further) develop customized (web) applications
- Create prototypes for proof of concepts
- Evaluate technology stacks based on given requirements
- Design and conceptualize new software architectures
- Shape and improve the software development process
- Collaborate within the team and conduct code reviews
Your profile
It’s important to us that you fit well into our cooperative and motivated team both professionally and personally. We are looking for someone who brings the following:
- A solid background in computer science (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred)
- Strong technical interest, willingness, and enthusiasm to tackle complex problems
- Independent, pragmatic, and results-oriented working style
- Several years of experience in software design and development of complex business applications using microservice architectures and various integration patterns
- Experience with our technology stack: TypeScript, GoLang, PHP8/Symfony, databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB), Docker/Kubernetes
- A team player with strong communication skills, high self-initiative, and a desire to grow both technically and methodologically
- Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, and cloud computing is a plus
